The recent upgrade of the Spiro Police Department’s fleet with the addition of two new units marks a significant milestone in enhancing the department’s capabilities. Through securing grants, both trucks, valued at around $45,000 each, were obtained for a reduced cost of approximately $27,000, thanks to the successful grant applications. The Spiro State Bank and Community State Bank further supported this initiative by covering the expenses for the lights and decals on both units, exemplifying a strong commitment to community safety and law enforcement.
